This Privacy Policy explains how Ninety 9 LTD ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Reviso, our Shopify app for self-serve post-purchase order editing.
This Privacy Policy applies to Reviso and to related interactions with merchants, store staff, customers whose data is processed through the app, and visitors to our website, where applicable. We only access and process personal data to the extent necessary to provide the app, maintain security, provide support, comply with applicable law, and meet our contractual obligations.
By installing or using Reviso, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.
When Reviso processes customer personal data on behalf of a Shopify merchant, the merchant generally acts as the data controller, and Ninety 9 LTD acts as a data processor / service provider for that data.
For certain data relating to our own business operations, such as merchant account records, billing records, support communications, website analytics preferences, security logs, and legal compliance records, Ninety 9 LTD may act as an independent controller.
We access and process data only as permitted by Shopify, by our agreements with merchants, and by applicable law.
To provide Reviso, we may collect and process the following categories of information:
Merchant: a business owner or authorized staff member of a Shopify store that installs or uses Reviso.
Customer: an individual whose order or account data may be processed through a merchant’s use of Reviso.
Where applicable under data protection law, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
We use personal data to:
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only where necessary and appropriate with:
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including measures such as access controls, role-based access limitation, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure storage practices, logging, and monitoring.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use third-party service providers to host and support Reviso, including providers for infrastructure, databases, monitoring, communications, and related technical operations. These providers may process personal data on our behalf under contractual obligations requiring appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection measures.
Data may be stored or processed in jurisdictions different from the merchant’s or customer’s country of residence, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records required for support, security, dispute resolution, and compliance, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.
When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it in accordance with our retention practices, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
These rights may be subject to legal, technical, and contractual limitations, including where processing is necessary to provide the service, protect legal claims, or comply with law.
If you are a customer of a merchant using Reviso, please contact the relevant merchant first, as the merchant is usually the controller of your customer data. If needed, we may assist the merchant in responding to verified requests.
You may contact us regarding privacy requests at [email protected].
Where required by Shopify and applicable privacy laws, we support merchants in addressing verified privacy-related requests, including requests relating to access, deletion, and other legally required compliance actions.
We process Shopify-related personal data only as necessary to provide app functionality and operate in accordance with Shopify platform requirements, our agreements, and applicable law.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure that such transfers are made in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Depending on the circumstances, these safeguards may include contractual protections, such as standard contractual clauses, or reliance on recognized adequacy mechanisms where available.

Reviso is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While Ninety 9 LTD makes reasonable efforts to maintain and improve the service, we do not warrant or guarantee that Reviso will always operate without errors, interruptions, bugs, delays, inaccuracies, or other defects.
The merchant acknowledges and agrees that software is inherently complex and that errors, bugs, technical issues, or unexpected behavior may occur from time to time despite reasonable testing and maintenance efforts.
By installing and using Reviso, the merchant accepts full responsibility for reviewing and monitoring any order changes, customer communications, workflows, automations, or actions performed through the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ninety 9 LTD, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, financial, commercial, or other damages arising out of or related to the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon Reviso.
This limitation includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, loss of customers, loss of goodwill, fulfillment errors, shipping costs, chargebacks, data loss, operational interruptions, or any other commercial damages or losses, even if Ninety 9 LTD has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The merchant remains solely responsible for the operation of its store, compliance with applicable laws, fulfillment of orders, customer service obligations, and all business decisions made in connection with the use of Reviso.
