What we look for

What ChatGPT can read on the page

The page you pasted

Homepage, collection, product, blog, or a store page. The checks change with the URL. If the structured facts are missing, a model is guessing from the HTML.

Who is blocked

Whether robots.txt is turning away GPTBot, Claude, Perplexity, or Google — and whether you published a llms.txt.

Then you ask

When the list is done, open ChatGPT, Perplexity, or DeepSeek with this page already in the prompt. Your account, not ours.

FAQ

Common questions

Does this mean ChatGPT recommends my store?

No. We cannot see whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or DeepSeek already mention you. We only read the public page you pasted, plus robots.txt and llms.txt.

Do I need a product link?

No. Paste the homepage, a collection, a product, a blog post, or any store page. We check that URL — we do not jump to a product the way the CRO audit does.

Is this the CRO audit?

No. The CRO audit looks at what stops the sale on a product page. This page looks at whether ChatGPT can read the URL you pasted. They do not share a report.

Can I block this?

Yes. Paste the snippet at the bottom of this page into the head of theme.liquid. The next run stops. The CRO audit opt-out tag also stops this check.

Is this an official Shopify tool?

No. Ninety9 is a Shopify Partner. Shopify does not endorse, sponsor, or operate this page. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc.

Want what stops the sale, not whether ChatGPT can read the page? Use the CRO Audit.

For merchants

Block this check

In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Edit code, open layout/theme.liquid, and paste this inside <head>. The next run stops. We will not read the page, robots.txt, or llms.txt. Delete the tag to allow checks again. The CRO audit opt-out tag also stops this page.

Ninety9 is a Shopify Partner. This check is not a Shopify product and is not endorsed, sponsored or operated by Shopify.

Want what stops the sale too?

The CRO audit looks at the same product page for add to cart, stock honesty, and missed AOV — then names the app that owns each miss.

Every app installs from the Shopify App Store. No theme code, no developer needed.
